Artificial Intelligence (AI) Transparency and User Information (In accordance with the EU Artificial Intelligence Law (2024/1689))

This device uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve washing, and ease of use. The CustomWash/AdaptiveWash function personalizes future washing cycles by optimizing cycle parameters based on optional user feedback and operational sensor data. The system analyzes feedback counts to locally adjust parameters such as cleanness, timing, dryness level, detergent residue or wringle situation in order to better match user preferences. AI-generated adjustments are supportive functions only and cannot override safety-critical functions, hardware limits, or predefined safety boundaries. All the safety functions operate independently of AI. Users remain in control of program selection and can choose whether to provide feedback and approve cycle adjustments via the HomeWhiz application. The AI functions process only operational sensor data and categorical user feedback, do not expose raw system parameters, and do not require or share personal data. These transparency measures are provided in accordance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
