Antenna Settings for Digital Satellite Channels and Searching for Channels Automatically with the Single Channel Router (SCR) system

Your TV supports SCR (Single Channel Router) system. SCR (Single Channel Router - EN 50494).
LNB settings described in the following section require significant expertise on satellite systems. Contact an expert about the subject.
- Press the
to switch to the TV mode.
- Press the
, select Source and press the
.
- Select Satellite option, and press the
.
- Press the
, select Settings and press the
.
- Select Channels & Inputs option, and press
.
- Select Channels option, and press the
.
- Channel menu will be displayed.
- Select Channel Installation Mode option, and press the
.
- Select Satellite (Standard) or Satellite (Operator Mode) if you are using an operator, and press the
.
- Select Channels option, and press the
.
- Select Automatic Channel Scan option, and press the
.
- Automatic Channel Scan menu will be displayed.
- Select Other option, and press
.
- As per the type of the single cable router multiswitch on your antenna system, select Single Cable I or Single Cable II and press the
.
- Single Cable I: By using a single channel router, a maximum of 8 different devices can be broadcast with the same cable.
- Single Cable II: By using a single channel router, a maximum of 32 different devices can be broadcast with the same cable.
- Depending on your selection of Single Cable I or Single Cable II 8 or 32 user bands will be displayed in the Tuner menu.
Note:
- Example setup is explained for eight devices with Single Cable I.
- Select the required options with the .
- Tuner: Select between User band 1 and User band 8 and confirm with.
- Band Frequency: Select the band frequency with and confirm with
.
- User Defined: You can set the band frequency yourself. From the Band Frequency field, select User Defined. User Defined option will be displayed in the Single Cable I menu. Enter user defined frequency with the .
- Select Next option and press the
.
- Automatic Channel Scan menu will be displayed.
- Select the first satellite displayed in the menu and press the
.
- Select Satellite Status as On.
- Select Satellite Selection using the
and select the satellite you wish to use for searching.
- Select Scan Mode and select between All and Network.
- Select Scan Type.
- Select Only Free Channels for unencrypted channels only
- Select Encrypted Channels Only for encrypted channels only
- Select All for all satellite channels.
- Select Store Type.
- Select Only Digital Channels for TV channels only
- Select Only Radio Channels for radio channels only
- Select All for scanning both options.
- Select LNB Settings and press the
.
- Select Location option, and press the
- Select the location corresponding to the satellite you want to search and press the
.
- Return to the Automatic Channel Scan menu by pressing the
twice.
Note:
- Make the settings described in steps 15 to 26 for each satellite you want to scan.
- Select Next option and press the
.
- Automatic Search menu will be displayed and the search for TV stations shall start.
- Search may take several minutes depending on the number of television stations received.
Notes:
- Use installation equipment supported / suggested by the SCR router.
- Other users / receivers connected to the system may be affected if the specified user band number and frequency are changed during installation.
- User band and User band frequency are specified on the SCR router used; and each user / receiver must select a specified user band and user band frequency.
- With SCR satellite system, auto search by several users / receivers at the same time may cause problems.
- Press
to return to the previous menu, press
to return to TV broadcast or press
to return to Home menu.
